Terms of Service

This is an English translation provided for convenience. The Lithuanian version is the legally binding original; in case of any discrepancy, the Lithuanian text prevails.

1. Agreement to these terms

These terms of service apply to the "LazyCal" service, provided and operated by LAZYFIT, MB, legal entity code 306635319, registered address Gelvonų g. 5-51, LT-07140 Vilnius, Lithuania, email info@lazycal.lt.

By using the LazyCal service (the "Service"), available at lazycal.lt, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (the "Terms").

If you do not agree to these Terms, or wish to withdraw as they change, please stop using the Service and delete your account.

The Service is intended for individuals aged 16 and over. Younger individuals should not use the Service without parental consent.

2. Description of the Service

LazyCal is a calorie and nutrition tracking app that lets you:

• Track your daily calorie intake and nutrition data.
• Use an extensive database of Lithuanian and international food products with barcode scanning.
• Recognize food from photos using artificial intelligence (AI) and receive AI coach advice (see Privacy Policy section 4 on AI processing).
• Set and track personal nutrition, weight and body goals.
• Review nutrition history and statistics.
• Plan weekly shopping using the basket feature.

AI estimates are approximate. Food recognition and AI coach advice can be wrong — always verify and adjust values as needed.

We reserve the right to change, add to or discontinue any feature of the Service at any time, with or without prior notice, depending on the significance of the change.

3. Health and nutrition disclaimer

LazyCal is an informational tool, not a medical device. This means:

• Our calculations (calorie targets, macronutrients, BMR) are approximate and may differ from your actual needs.
• Individual nutritional needs depend on many factors — metabolism, health condition, medication, etc. — which the app cannot account for.
• Overly strict calorie restriction can be dangerous to your health. If in doubt, consult a doctor or dietitian.
• LAZYFIT, MB assumes no liability for health harm arising from use of the Service or reliance on the information it provides.

4. Account and registration

• When registering, you must provide accurate and up-to-date information.
• You are responsible for the security and confidentiality of your account. Do not disclose your password to third parties.
• If you discover unauthorized access to your account, notify us immediately.
• Creating multiple accounts to bypass usage restrictions is prohibited.
• One person — one account.

5. Acceptable use

By using LazyCal you agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful and personal purposes.
• Not violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Not maliciously overload our servers (DDoS, mass data scraping, etc.).
• Not use automated tools (bots, scrapers) to collect data.
• Not reproduce, copy or distribute the Service or its content without written permission.

Violation of these rules may result in restriction or termination of access to the Service.

6. User content

All data you enter into LazyCal (meals, goals, notes) belongs to you. We do not claim ownership of your personal nutrition data.

You grant us a limited license to process this data solely to provide the Service. We will not distribute your personal data or use it for advertising.

You can export or delete your data at any time — directly in-app (Settings → Account → Export data), or by writing to info@lazycal.lt.

7. Intellectual property

The LazyCal app, design, logo, text, and food product database are our intellectual property or used under applicable licenses.

• Copying, distributing or modifying any part of the Service without written consent is prohibited.
• Creating derivative works based on the LazyCal software is prohibited.
• The "LazyCal" name and logo may not be used without permission.

8. Third-party services

LazyCal uses the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication.
• Google (Gemini API) — AI processing (food recognition from photos, AI coach).
• Google OAuth — optional sign-in method.
• Resend — email delivery.
• Vercel — hosting infrastructure.

These services have their own terms of use and privacy policies. LAZYFIT, MB is not responsible for the operation, outages, or changes of third-party services.

The Service may contain links to external websites. LAZYFIT, MB assumes no responsibility for the content or policies of external websites.

9. Limitation of liability

The Service is provided "as is", without any express or implied warranties, including warranties of fitness for a particular purpose.

• We do not guarantee that the Service will operate uninterrupted or error-free.
• We do not guarantee the absolute accuracy of food product nutritional information — the database is based on publicly available sources.
• We are not liable for indirect losses, lost profits, or data loss arising from use of the Service.
• Our liability shall in no event exceed the amount paid over the preceding 12 months (if the Service is free — EUR 0).

10. Termination

Your right

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We recommend exporting important data before deleting your account.

Our right

We reserve the right to:

• Suspend or terminate an account that violates these Terms.
• Temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance or unforeseen circumstances.
• Discontinue the Service entirely, with prior notice by email.

11. Changes to these Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms. We will notify you of material changes:

• By email, at least 14 days before the changes take effect.
• Via an in-app notification.

Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. If you do not agree, you have the right to delete your account.

12. Governing law and dispute resolution

These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Lithuania and applicable European Union regulations.

Disputes will be resolved through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, disputes will be resolved in the courts of the Republic of Lithuania, according to the registered seat of LAZYFIT, MB.

EU consumers also have the right to use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform.
